Perfect combination of bedrooms, kitchen facilities, and proximity to one of America's great historical sites.Posted on Amy Yates19 October 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We hosted a 20th reunion weekend of our Peace Corps cohort here. The house was perfect for our needs! The booking process was easy, and Fred, the site manager, went above and beyond to answer my questions remotely and work with our schedule. We used every bit of available space, with 26 adults and 4 children. Cooking was a squeeze with so many people to feed, but we brought along some crockpots to supplement the four burner stove. There are two large fridges, so food storage was not a problem. The rooms were cozy and clean with a bathroom in each, and the large living room meant we could all squeeze onto the couch for a slideshow on the big screen TV. We also had a great bonfire on Friday night! The house is right next to a road, but it's relatively quiet, and several of us took walks along it and saw other walkers and bikers. There is plenty to do in the area, but I was content to just enjoy the house and reconnect with old friends. This was the perfect place to do it!Posted on Philip sakowitz20 September 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had our annual 12-person golf buddy trip in the Gettysburg area. The Middle Creek Manor couldn't have been better. We usually bunk together but this place had a room for each of us, with bathroom/shower!!! We love to cook in with some foodie cooks we have in our group, and kitchen was large and plenty of seating. Alan was excellent to work with prior, and Fred on the ground met every need we through at him. Check it out if need a place in the area. Oh, and the golf at Penn National was awesome. Two distinctly different courses and both in exceptional condition.Posted on Mary Seavey10 May 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our family needed a space for the National Fallen Firefighters Weekend May 6-8, 2023. My husband was being honored and we had many friends and family coming from all over the United States to stay and attend the ceremony. Middle Creek Manor was the perfect spot! Mr. Alan Trider was the perfect host and very accommodating to work with! The 12 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, ample parking, out building for reception, firepit, cornhole game, large kitchen for meals, allowed us to be able to gather, share stories, memories, laughs, and tears in a comfortable setting…my friends could not believe I found this spot and we hope to come back again just to spend a weekend of friendship! Grocery store and carry out restaurants were 10 minutes away. Thank you Middle Creek Manor!Posted on Craig Mickel1 November 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would like to say if you're looking for a great place that is reasonably priced than look no further. Everyone we dealt with is so professional and willing to make your event a great experience. Our group was able to use all aspects of the property for our get together. From the outdoor building, to the cozy big living room upstairs to just hanging out in the big kitchen. I Felt like I was at Grandma's big home for our group to connect and share a special times. We hope to be back in a year or two to make more memories here. We enjoyed our stay at Middle Creek Manor. The staff was very receptive to us and the accommodations are nice. It was wonderful to have all of our employees at one site for our retreat and to enjoy the lovely grounds and peaceful environment. Two suggestions for the future: 1) we would have loved to have had Wi-Fi in the barn (which is where we had business meetings) as it was in the main house and 2) we wanted to have a recycling bin available for our plastics and paper products. Special thanks to Alan Trider and the on-site person, Freddy for their hospitality.Posted on John Brockhoeft7 October 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
